Genuine worship of the true God is the deepest need of our lives. We need to place worship in the right place in our lives. When we do, it (worship) unleashes powerful spiritual blessings in our lives. Here are a few:

1/ Worship brings a peace that knows no bound. The God who forgives and cleanses imparts the gift of peace to those
who come to him in genuine worship.

2/ Worship enables a person to rise above the temporal circumstances of life. It
gives us visions of God on the throne of the universe, sovereign and supreme,
majestic and holy, in control of world events. Rev. 1

3/  Worship brings strength for victory in the struggles of life (Isa. 40:28 – 31).

4/ Worship draws us into a place where we can hear God – audibly or through word of wisdom, knowledge, or revelation. Isa. 6

5/ Worship releases God’s promise to you. I remember hearing a preacher saying the following many years ago… “praise is the plow that release the promises of God.” – Psalm 103:1-5

6/ Worship gives us a deeper sense of the holiness of God and produces in us the proper fear of the Lord – Psalm 24

7/ Worship has an attractiveness in it to draw the sinner to the Lord – John 12:32

8/ Worship unleashes power to confuse and defeat the enemy – Psalm 149

9/ Worship creates an atmosphere for miracles, signs and wonders to happen – Acts 16:24-26

10/ Worship leaves us wanting, hungering, thirsting for more of God – Matt. 5:6
