The Cross: Billy Graham’s Message to America

1 Corinthians 1:17, 18
For Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel, and not with words of eloquent wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power. For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

  1. I have watched this a couple times before and it is SO powerful. I love when he says “The cross DEMANDS a new lifestyle”.

He has never veered from his message of salvation! I love it ;)

    Walter,
Thanks for posting this message from Billy Graham. Watching it reminded me that Mr. Graham had a part in my accepting the fact that I needed to accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior! Great message from a humblr man whom God has used to reach many with the message of salvation.
    Your brother in Christ,
    Patrick

    P. S. – I ended up using this post as the inspiration to create a page titled “Finding Life” at the top of my blog with Mr. Graham’s message. Thanks!!!
